Justin has had major “writer’s block,” but thanks to his roller coaster relationship with Selena Gomez, 22, he’s been able to get back on his game, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Of course, everyone knows the recipe to great music stems from heartbreak — Selena knows a thing about that, too! (Ahem, “The Heart Wants What It Wants.”) Now, Justin is pouring his unresolved feelings into his music.
“His relationship with Selena helped Justin write. He channeled everything in his life into his music. He wont say, but Selena may want to prepare herself for a couple songs about her and their relationship,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

 

 

We bet he’ll have a handful of dramatic things to sing about! However, even though his heart may be broken, Justin really has Selena to thank for getting him out of “writer’s block”. With the help of Selena and some great producers, Justin is ready to take the music scene by storm.

“He just wasn’t coming up with any ideas and felt like he was not sure which direction he was going to go in. He had total writers block,” our source says. “Justin worked hard at getting it back. He listens to a lot of hip hop and rap, but Rick Rubin and other producers suggested he get back to his roots playing acoustic guitar. It really got Justin charged up.” How exciting — we can’t wait!
